I have tried to update everything suggested, but nothing seems to work. I can run a separate version of MAME in a different folder. The problem went away for a few weeks and now has returned. I have a Surface Pro 4 with Intel HD Graphics 520 with 4G. I haven't looked for all 3 errors at once, but will do so now. Sorry for the late response, but the flu has hit our house pretty hard.

If you're on Windows 7, it probably wouldn't hurt to install the Platform Update for Windows 7 too if you haven't already done so. Try installing the DirectX 9.0c redist package. What O/S and hardware do you have? What video card? I've seen this post hundreds of times and it's starting to be asked almost on a daily basis.
